Education and Training Information Fair

Time: 1:30pm – 4:00pm (prisoners arrive from 2:00pm)
About the Event:
This event is designed for men in the final 16 weeks of their sentence who are actively seeking training and upskilling opportunities to improve their employment prospects on release. The fair will showcase the range of training opportunities available to individuals as they leave custody, helping them take their next steps into employment.
Training providers and employers from all sectors are invited to attend and showcase their opportunities. This is an opportunity to:
- Promote your training or employment offers
- Engage with individuals preparing for release
- Build connections with a potential future workforce
- Support successful transitions into employment
You are encouraged to bring promotional materials. Where individuals express interest, a signposting system will be in place to provide them with the information needed to apply—potentially while still in custody—so they can begin training promptly upon release.
