How do I use the North Wales Skills Portal?

For Individuals: Whether you’re a young person considering your next steps after school, looking for your first job, to return to work, or mid-career and looking for a change, explore a range of information and local skills and employment opportunities on the Portal.

For Employers: Find resources on recruiting, developing, and retaining staff, plus access to business skills support form local training and support providers to help you grow.

What are priority sectors?

A sector is a term used to classify a group of occupations and industries, such as Tourism and Hospitality, Construction and Healthcare. The 9 sectors that the Portal focuses on are prioritised because they align with North Wales’ strengths.

We have a strong foundation in areas like renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and tourism. By using these existing strengths, North Wales can build on its natural resources, skilled workforce, and innovative industries.
