Earn While You Learn with a Welsh Government Apprenticeship

Looking for a new opportunity, a career change, or a way to gain qualifications while earning a salary?

The Welsh Government is preparing to recruit 30 entry-level Team Support apprentices across Wales, offering a starting salary of ยฃ27,302 and the opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration or Customer Service.

Whether you’re leaving school or college, looking for your first full-time role, considering a career change or returning to work, this apprenticeship programme could be the start of an exciting new journey.

No Qualifications Required

One of the biggest benefits of this apprenticeship programme is that you don’t need any qualifications to apply.

Rather than focusing on previous work experience, the Welsh Government is looking for people with the right attitude, potential and willingness to learn.

Applicants simply need to:

  • Be aged 16 or over
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK

Learn New Skills and Gain Valuable Experience

As an apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues while gaining practical skills, recognised qualifications and valuable workplace experience.

You’ll also have the opportunity to experience different areas of the organisation through two placements during the 18-month programme, helping you discover what interests you and develop a wide range of skills.

Welsh Speakers Encouraged to Apply

The Welsh Government is keen to receive applications from Welsh speakers, as well as people who are interested in learning or improving their Welsh language skills.

Find Out More at an Open Day

If you’d like to learn more about the apprenticeship programme before applying, why not attend one of the Welsh Government’s open day events?
