Self-Employment and Business Start-Up Event

About the Event
This event is aimed at men in the final 16 weeks of their sentence who are interested in becoming self-employed on release.
This is a new event for HMP Berwyn, designed to support individuals who may face barriers to traditional employment and are interested in starting their own business.
For Employers and Providers
We are seeking organisations that can support individuals in starting their own business. This includes:
- Business start-up advice
- Self-employment support
- Mentoring and enterprise guidance
- Access to funding or resources
This is an opportunity to:
- Provide practical guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs
- Support individuals with skills and trade experience
- Help individuals understand pathways into self-employment
