Jobs Growth Wales+ is an innovative and flexible programme designed to help businesses in Wales tap into young talent. By participating, you can shape the programme to best suit your business needs while creating life-changing opportunities for young people.

Why Get Involved?

Talent Pipeline: Access motivated young individuals ready to learn and contribute.
Wage Subsidies: Receive up to 50% of employment costs for the first six months.
Support: Benefit from free recruitment advice and ongoing training support.

How It Works

Employment: Employ a young person (16-19 years old) for 16-40 hours a week, for at least six months.
Subsidies: Get up to 50% of their wages covered at the National Minimum Wage.
Training: Continuous support from a designated contractor to ensure skill development.

Eligibility

Businesses: Open to all sizes and industries in Wales.
• Jobs: Must be additional roles, paid at or above the National Minimum Wage, and not supported by other public or European funding.
• Candidates: Young people (16-19 years old) not in full-time education, employment, or training, living in Wales, and assessed by Working Wales.
