At the North Wales Regional Skills Partnership, we’re proud to see the real-world impact of our Inspire to Build pilot programme — and this week, that impact is being brought to life through Freya’s work experience placement with Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd.

Freya, a student at Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni, first connected with Griffiths through Inspire to Build — a programme we designed and delivered in collaboration with CITB and leading employers to encourage young people to explore careers in construction.

Now, she’s gaining hands-on experience on-site in North West Wales, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see her journey unfold.

The programme has done exactly what it set out to do – inspire young people to consider the construction sector as a career. This is real impact – creating real opportunities for young people across the region.

We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd and Mandy Evans for their continued support and commitment to developing the next generation of construction talent.

We’re excited to follow Freya’s journey and look forward to seeing where her ambition takes her next.
